Genius Inside You

Over the past 7 months I have gained much respect for my body and all that it says to me.  I have never just stopped and listened to what my body is telling me.  You know when you do listen the body has a lot to say!  It speaks to me in intuitive wisdom which everyone has because it’s instinct.  It’s amazing to me I needed a book to remind me to eat only while hungry and to stop when I’m full.  Then again it’s also amazing how many years I spent listening to what other people were saying on what, when and how much to eat.  No wonder I never could stick to any diet.  I admit letting go of the reins and listening to my mind/body was a difficult thing to grasp at first, but once I did it was second nature.  It’s instinct to eat when hungry and stop when full that’s why we have those very powerful signals built into our mind and body.  The same way we know what we want to eat.  I eat what I want not what I think I should eat.  That freedom allows my subconscious mind to help make intuitive decisions on what my body needs from food.  Listen to your subconscious mind it’s the only true genius on what your body needs.

7 Months of living Addiction free from food

Even though I’ve slacked off on my exercise I’m still losing weight.  It goes much slower without putting forth effort with exercising.  I went back and reread the exercise chapter in “I Can Make You Thin” by Paul Mckenna and i’m using the motivation technique to assocatiate exercise to motivational factors in my life.  Now ever time i press my left finger and thumb together I feel everything that motivates me.  Life is good almost 50lbs lighter and free from food.

Still losing slowly but healthy

I’ve lost a little more weight! I’m losing on average 10lbs a month. This is the slowest I have ever lost weight before, but this is the healthiest way. Before I always lost weight on fad diets. I would drop the weight fast, but it also came back fast plus more. I once lost 90lbs on a low fat diet and it gave me gull bladder problems. The doctor told me that the gull bladder would form crystals if I don’t have enough fat going through my gull bladder. Those tiny crystals caused me horrendous pain and trips to the emergency room. I gained the weight back and my gull bladder got better, but I knew I could never go on a low fat diet again. Thank God for Paul Mckenna’s book! I finally know that diets are not the solution they are the enemy.  I know most of you will cringe at my words, but it’s true. The fight against our desire to eat is not a winning battle. The body and subconscious mind will always win over the conscious mind.

Enjoy food!

Enjoy your food! Eat what you truly enjoy! Eat when you are hungry, eat slowly (another words don’t inhale) and stop when you feel full. If you eat when you are truly hungry your body will use your food as fuel and not store it as fat. Life without enjoyment of food is like a life with no laughter.

Still losing weight and I’m not suffering!

First three months of being free of food addiction!  Today I weighed and i’m at 273 down from probably 300lbs. I was too scared to weigh myself when I first started.  The weight is coming off more slowly then I have ever lost before but i’m not suffering from not being able to eat what I want.  I eat what ever I want when I am hungry.  The tapping technique in Paul Mckeena’s book I Can Make You Thin is key to my addiction freedom.  It acts as a reset button to your mind to get you over the obsessive thinking and craving of high fat sugary foods.  I no longer need food to change the way I feel emotionally.  I need food to enjoy and to keep me going.  I’m a person that has been addicted to food my entire life and no diet has been anything that I could ever live with and be happy.  I’m happy now and i’m losing weight what could be better!!!

“I Can Make You Thin” by Paul McKenna

As human beings our instinct tells us to eat when we restrict calories or a certain food or foods from our diet.  It is simply the brain going into anti starvation mode. This process of restricting our diet from certain types of food and calories can make us more obsessive about food.  Which is why we tend to gain weight after coming off a diet. The imagination is always stronger then the will!  So therefore we find ourselves thinking about food and imagining food, tastes and textures and even if you don’t eat it you will eventually. I’m the typical life dieter who has always been overweight. I tried and failed every diet known to man and felt like a big fat failure who just didn’t have the will power to overcome my eating problem.  I ate mostly for emotional reasons and used food to change my emotional state. When I thought about dieting all my past diet failures ran through my mind like a movie.  With my type of dieting history I knew starting another diet would also end in failure. I prayed for a solution to come into my life. One night I stumbled across the reviews of Paul McKenna’s book “I Can Make You Thin” Sounded like another fluff diet book telling me to eat carrots and exercise, but after reading the reviews and doing a web search on Paul McKenna I was simply amazed. Now after reading his book I am finally free of the burden of food and the hold it had on me.  If you are like me and in need of something that will get you past all your diet failures and your cravings then buy this book.
